Tangled Cords Waste Time

In patient rooms, some telephone handsets have two halves. One half is spiraled. The other half is flat.

Inevitably, the curly half will get tangled with the tubing (oxygen, suction, and IV’s) as well as cords (Nurse Call/TV remotes, pulse/Ox cord, and electrical cords).

Solution: Prevent cords from getting entangled by attaching the flat half of the telephone cord to the telephone handset.

Best Solution: Use only flat telephone cords.
